How to read this map
The Dadu River is about 642 km (399 mi) long and drains a basin of about 92,000 km² (35,500 sq mi). It rises at the Jiaomuzu River and flows into the Min River. Tributaries include Qingyi River, Nanya River, Niuri River, Xiaojin River, Geshizha River and Donggu River.
The highlighted blue line is the course of the Dadu River as mapped by Natural Earth. Towns and cities on the map include Chengdu, Neijiang, Mianyang, Leshan, Zigong, Yibin, Xichang and Ya'an.
Greens show lower elevations; tan and brown show higher land, with pale tones toward the highest terrain. Shadows emphasize the slopes, and vertical relief is exaggerated so landforms are easier to read. Dashed lines show country borders.
The relief uses Terrain Tiles (SRTM, GMTED2010 and ETOPO1 elevation data). Rivers, lakes, borders and the course of the Dadu River come from Natural Earth, and the figures on this page from Wikidata. Natural Earth draws features at a small scale, so the line is a guide to where the Dadu River is, not a surveyed boundary.
