Flag of Romania
The flag of Romania has three equal vertical stripes of blue, yellow and red, with blue at the hoist. It carries no emblem. It looks almost exactly like the flag of Chad; the only difference is a slightly different shade of blue, which is hard to tell apart.

Meaning of the flag of Romania
The blue, yellow and red tricolor goes back to the revolution of 1848 and became the national flag in the 1860s. During the communist period a coat of arms was added in the center. In the 1989 revolution, protesters cut it out, leaving flags with a hole in the middle, and the plain tricolor was restored. The colors are often linked to liberty, justice and fraternity.
