Poyang Lake is a lake in China, covering about 5,100 km² (1,970 sq mi), with a maximum depth of 25 m (82 ft). This map shows the lake outlined in blue on shaded relief, with the rivers, borders and towns around it.

How to read this map
Its surface lies about 12 m (39 ft) above sea level. Inflows include Gan River, Fu River, Le'an River, Xiushui River, Chang Jiang, Rao He and Xin River. It drains through the Yangtze River.
The blue outline marks Poyang Lake as mapped by Natural Earth. Towns and cities on the map include Nanchang, Huangshi, Jiujiang, Jingdezhen and Fengcheng.
Greens show lower elevations; tan and brown show higher land, with pale tones toward the highest terrain. Shadows emphasize the slopes, and vertical relief is exaggerated so landforms are easier to read. Dashed lines show country borders.
The relief uses Terrain Tiles (SRTM, GMTED2010 and ETOPO1 elevation data). Rivers, lakes, borders and the outline of Poyang Lake come from Natural Earth, and the figures on this page from Wikidata. Natural Earth draws features at a small scale, so the outline is a guide to where Poyang Lake is, not a surveyed boundary.
