How to read this map

Its surface lies about 176 m (577 ft) above sea level. Inflows include St. Marys River, Penetangore River, Saugeen River, Bighead River, Black Mallard River, Swan River, Sauble River and Ocqueoc River. It drains through the St. Clair River. It lies in Michigan.

The blue outline marks Lake Huron as mapped by Natural Earth. Towns and cities on the map include Toronto, Detroit, Buffalo, Hamilton, Grand Rapids, Toledo, Oshawa and Kitchener. Labeled states and countries: Michigan.

Greens show lower elevations; tan and brown show higher land, with pale tones toward the highest terrain. Shadows emphasize the slopes, and vertical relief is exaggerated so landforms are easier to read. Dashed lines show country borders, and fine dashed lines show state or province borders.

The relief uses Terrain Tiles (SRTM, GMTED2010 and ETOPO1 elevation data). Rivers, lakes, borders and the outline of Lake Huron come from Natural Earth, and the figures on this page from Wikidata. Natural Earth draws features at a small scale, so the outline is a guide to where Lake Huron is, not a surveyed boundary.
