Lake Edward Map
Lake Edward is a lake across Uganda and the Democratic Republic of the Congo, covering about 2,150 km² (830 sq mi), with a maximum depth of 117 m (384 ft). This map shows the lake outlined in blue on shaded relief, with the rivers, borders and towns around it.

How to read this map
Its surface lies about 912 m (2,992 ft) above sea level. Inflows include Kazinga Channel and Rutshuru River. It drains through the Semliki River. It is shared by Uganda and the Democratic Republic of the Congo.
The blue outline marks Lake Edward as mapped by Natural Earth. Towns and cities on the map include Beni, Butembo, Ruhengeri, Mbarara, Kasese, Kabale, Fort Portal and Ntungamo.
Greens show lower elevations; tan and brown show higher land, with pale tones toward the highest terrain. Shadows emphasize the slopes, and vertical relief is exaggerated so landforms are easier to read. Dashed lines show country borders.
The relief uses Terrain Tiles (SRTM, GMTED2010 and ETOPO1 elevation data). Rivers, lakes, borders and the outline of Lake Edward come from Natural Earth, and the figures on this page from Wikidata. Natural Earth draws features at a small scale, so the outline is a guide to where Lake Edward is, not a surveyed boundary.
